David Edwards - Director

David Edwards has been involved in bartending schools since 1986. His mother owned and directed the St. Louis campus from 1978 until 1988. David graduated from the St. Louis campus in 1986. He has worked in fine dining restaurants, hotels, neighborhood bars, and the St. Louis Airport .

David was one of the original co-founders and former Vice President of Professional Bartending Schools of America
David also has mastered basic bar flair and was a judge in the 2003 "Best Bartender in Tennessee " flair contest, whose winner received a qualification in the Disney "Quest for the Best Bartender in America " contest held yearly in Orlando , Florida .

He has been the featured trainer in all of PBSA instructor and staff training tapes, he’s appeared in television commercials, and speaks annually at PBSA seminars on running highly successful bartending schools. David has helped develop training techniques that are used in schools around the country and has participated in the development of the current textbook used by the Professional Bartending Schools of America .

David is shown above on the right with PBSA President, Roger Oldham and Alberto Gonzalez of Jose' Cuervo after graduating from Jose Cuervo Tequila training seminar held in Key West, Florida in 2005. David has also attended and passed seminars from Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, Glenlivett Scotch, Bacardi Rum, Martel Cognac, Makers Mark, and Anheuser-Busch and Guinness Beer Schools .

Victor Barkley - Instructor

Victor has bartended for the past 17 years in Michigan and in the Knoxville area. He was a corporate trainer for Bailey's Sports Grill and has instructed at our Knoxville campus for two years. Victor has bartended at Star Shooter's Bar & Grille in Big Rapids, Michigan. He has also bartended in several Knoxville bars and restaurants such as Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Garcia's Mexican Restaurant, Woodsmoke Lodge and Bailey's Sports Grill.

Victor is a graduate of Ferris State University in Michigan and also has attended the Professional Bartending School of Knoxville. He loves teaching and he puts an extra effort in to working with each student until the graduate our school. Victor is very patient and caring and gets a lot of satisfaction of training some of Knoxville's finest bartenders.

David has been the Director of the Professional Bartending School of Nashville since January of 1992.  As Director, the Nashville campus has won School of the Year a total of seven times since opening. 

The campus has won School of the Year a remarkable six out of the last seven years. David has won countless contribution awards and has twice won the prestigious President’s Award which is the top award in the Professional Bartending Schools of America affiliation for outstanding service and contribution.

Kim Caster - School Representative

Kim Caster is a former graduate of the Professional Bartending School of Knoxville. Upon graduation she quickly attained a bartending position at Rookies, a popular bar in West Knoxville.

Kim previously attained a license in esthetics at the TSB Skin Care Centre. After graduating from TSB, she began working at TBS and moved up to the position of clinic manager.

While attending the Professional Bartending School she caught the attention of management and several months later she was offered the position of School Representative at the Professional Bartending School of Knoxville. Her attention to detail, caring attitude, and hard work makes her an asset at the campus.
