David graduated from our St. Louis campus in 1986. He has worked in fine dining restaurants, hotels, neighborhood bars and the St. Louis Airport. David has been the director of the Professional Bartending School of Nashville since January 1992 and had recently taken over the Knoxville campus during June of 2000.
David Edwards:
Director
David previously held the position of Vice President of the national company before resigning to work more closely with the Nashville and Knoxville campuses. David has been featured in training tapes, television commercials, and a Learn Bartending by Video Tape that is sold nationwide. David has helped develop training techniques that are used in schools around the country and has participated in the development of the current textbook used by the Professional Bartending Schools of America.
Mia Williams:
Assistant Director
Mia Williams is a former graduate of the Professional Bartending School of Knoxville. Mia attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. and has extensive office experience as well as having bartended in a variety of places in Knoxville and around the United States.
James "Junior" Ellis:
Instructor/Job Placement Director
James "Junior" Ellis is the Job Placement Director and one of the Instructors at the Professional Bartending School of Knoxville! Junior has extensive bartending experience from Oahu, Hawaii to Knoxville, Tennessee. Junior bartended at Nashville Waikiki, which is one of the only country western bars in Hawaii for 4 years. He also bartended for two years at the Da Dawg House and Bobby's G-Spot which are two popular night clubs in Hawaii.
Victor Barkley:
Instructor
Victor has bartended for the past 17 years in Michigan and in the Knoxville area. He was a corporate trainer for Bailey's Sports Grill and has instructed at our Knoxville campus for two years. Victor has bartended at Star Shooter's Bar & Grille in Big Rapids, Michigan. He has also bartended in several Knoxville bars and restaurants such as Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Garcia's Mexican Restaurant, Woodsmoke Lodge and Bailey's Sports Grill.
