Bartending - Mixology Course - Worcester, Massachusetts
One of the questions the public frequently asks, is "What's the difference between a bartender and a mixologist?" We think of the difference between a mixologist and a bartender as being similar to the differences between a chef and a cook. A mixologist has received more extensive training, has greater industry knowledge and usually works in the more upscale food and beverage establishments. In addition, a mixologist usually commands a higher base salary and can expect more tips due to an increased drink repetoire.
Our Professional Mixology course can be completed over a one, two or four week period. New bartending classes start each week. |

The graduate of our mixology course will have learned how to professionally prepare 125 traditional drinks as well as the latest trendy drinks that are popular in each city. Drinks range from the traditional martini & manhattan to the ever popular sex on the beach. In addition, the student will learn beer, wine and professional customer service techniques.
The school uses the Anheuser-Busch "Beertender" training program and the Guinness Beer "Perfect Pour" training program. Our Boston school actually certifies all of the students with the National Restaurant Association's "Bar Code" program. This certification is valid nationwide and for life! |
