One of the questions the public frequently asks, is "What's the difference between a bartender and a mixologist?" We think of the difference between a mixologist and a bartender as being similar to the differences between a chef and a cook. A mixologist has received more extensive training, has greater industry knowledge and usually works in the more upscale food and beverage establishments. In addition, a mixologist usually commands a higher base salary and can expect more tips due to an increased drink repertoire.
Our Professional Mixology course is a forty-hour course which includes books, flash cards, all seminars, TIPS® Alcohol Awareness Certification or ServSafe® Alcohol Certification by the National Restaurant Association, plus local & national Job Placement Assistance!
You can take the course over again anytime you want, as many times as you want, whenever you want. There is NEVER an additional fee! No Bartending school in Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Palm Beach County offers more than the New York Bartending School of South Florida. Our training and job placement program is unsurpassed! New bartending classes start each week.
