This course is mandatory on construction sites in New York State and Nevada |

This course covers ten (10) hours of courses, required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), that apply toward 10-hour Construction Industry course completion card.
This module is comprised of 12 sections, covering topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. The successful completion of this course will help to meet the Construction Industry standards established byOSHA. |

This course is designed for construction workers, foremen, job supervisors and anyone involved in the construction industry. OSHA recommends the 10 Hour construction outreach training program as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job.
Learning Objectives
- State the purpose of the OSH Act and list the functions of OSHA
- List the OSHA inspection priorities and describe the inspection process
- The basic requirements for proper aisle and passageway maintenance
- Guidelines for identification and protection of floor opening
- To understand the importance of effective egress fire protection program
