Portland Bartending School

Portland bartending schools have been training and placing professional bartenders for years throughout Portland. PBSA does not currently have a location in Portland, Oregon.

PBSA classrooms are set up like real bars, which gives our students the opportunity to work behind a real bar during their 40 hours of professional training under the close supervision of one of our qualified instructors.

The PBSA professional mixology course is typically 40 hours in length.  We offer morning, afternoon and evening classes to fit any schedule. These bartending classes are four-hours in length and are taught Monday through Friday for 2 weeks.  PBSA also offers a one-week accelerated course that combines two classes a day for a total of 5 days. 

In addition we offer a weekend only course held each Saturday from 10am to 6pm and is 5 weeks in length.  

Upon successful completion of the PBSA course, graduates are offered local and national and online job placement assistance.  Our Job Placement Directors work hard to keep a current list of a variety of bartending jobs for our graduates to apply for. 

PBSA graduates are also entitled to nationwide job placement assistance through the Professional Bartending Schools of America network.  PBSA offers this assistance at 28 state-licensed bartending schools across the country.
